We are happy to receive e-mail requests for repeat prescriptions.

Please note that that e-mail can never be 100% secure. In the unlikely event of e-mail being intercepted before it reaches the surgery, it could be possible for someone to deduce medical diagnoses from the medication requested.

If you would like to use this service, please use this address :

Please include the following information in your message :

EITHER	Your unique Patient Number
	(you will find this in the top right hand corner of your repeat prescription counterfoil)
OR	Your full name and date of birth

AND	Each medication that you require

Please send your request within the message body; please do not send us any attachments (they will be ignored).

If you would like to encrypt your e-mail request, AND you use PGP, then please encrypt your message using the latest version of our Public Key.

Please send any encrypted e-mails as plain text, and with your details and request encrypted within the message body (i.e. please do not put your details in the subject line or use any encrypted attachments).

On arrival of your e-mail, we will automatically and immediately send you a simple confirmation that we have received it. You do not need to specifically request a delivery receipt.

Repeat prescription requests should be ready for collection from the surgery after 48hrs (two working days).

If you have made an arrangement with either Moss Chemists or with Lloyds Chemists requesting them to collect and process your prescription on your behalf, then please indicate this in your e-mail.

Please do not use this e-mail address to request an appointment, home visit, medical advice or for any purpose other than to request a repeat prescription.

Please do not send any other medical information about yourself or others. If you have questions regarding your health, then please discuss this with your doctor in person.
