Travel Immunisations

We provide a travel vaccination service for our patients. Travel clinic appointments are available throughout the week.

Please book an appointment with the practice nurse at least 8 weeks before travel. When you make the appointment, please state that it is for a travel consultation.

Please complete a travel questionnaire and complete it before you come to the appointment.

If you do not know the dates of your previous immunisations do not worry - the nurse will go through it with you. Please do fill in the rest of the questionnaire.

The following websites give advice as to which vaccinations you may require:

fitfortravel

The website is compiled and updated by a team of experts from the Travel Medicine Division at Health Protection Scotland (HPS).

DoH

Please note that some charges do apply for certain holiday vaccinations.

Malaria tablets are available over the counter or, in the case of Lariam (mefloquine) or Malarone, by private prescription.
